Upon hearing the diagnosis of "pulmonary hypertension" for the first time, you find yourself entering a new world that will permanently reshape your previous life and the lives of your loved ones.

Pulmonary hypertension is a severe and progressive condition that requires qualified medical assistance. Unfortunately, in our country, there is no specialized center where timely diagnostic examinations can be conducted, comprehensive information about this rare disease can be obtained, and effective therapy can be tailored. Our Association is created with the aim of uniting pulmonary hypertension patients in Ukraine for a collective daily struggle for their health and future.

To achieve our goals, we set the following objectives:

  • Promote the development and improvement of diagnostic and treatment conditions for pulmonary hypertension.
  • Contribute to raising the level of medical care for pulmonary hypertension patients.
  • Facilitate the implementation of progressive ideas and scientific achievements in practical medicine for treating pulmonary hypertension patients.
  • Encourage the collaboration of specialized departments and physicians in cardiology, pulmonology, and thoracic medicine for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension patients.
  • Study and support the lung transplantation program in Ukraine.
  • Support the oxygen therapy program in Ukraine, promote the development of scientific ideas for the development and use of oxygen devices for pulmonary hypertension patients.
  • Provide pulmonary hypertension patients with information on obtaining and using necessary medications.
  • Inform Association members and pulmonary hypertension patients about methods of assistance in international clinics.
  • Mobilize media, government, and commercial entities, as well as society at large, to address the issues of pulmonary hypertension patients.
  • Exchange experiences with Ukrainian and international organizations engaged in similar activities.
  • Address the issues of psychological rehabilitation for pulmonary hypertension patients and their family members.
  • Establish a nationwide registry of pulmonary hypertension patients in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection."
  • Conduct seminars, conferences, business meetings, and consultations for Association members for communication and information exchange.
